FYI as we go into 2026:
1. Peluva makes a golf shoe (true to brand, it has individual toes and a little more cushion than some other brands).

2. Steven Sashen revealed in one of his “Ask me anything” live streams that Xero Shoes has a golf shoe in the works, likely to launch in 2026.

We are more interested in feet that work well here!

Best shoes ever but now worn out. When True starts making a fully waterproof Gortex shoe again, I’ll again be a customer.

We do actually have that in the review! We agree, it would be great if they expanded the sizing on the minimalist line to include women’s sizes.

I bought a not quite zero drop pair of their women’s shoes and the toe box is very narrow, yet they advertised that their one width shoes fit up to I think E width ! Not it is not possible to sell a shoe that comes in one width and have it fit both a narrow and extra wide foot ! I returned mine totally frustrated with a note. So, it would be good to clarify in your review that they do not sell barefoot golf shoes for women. Yes, they are low drop but the toe box is very narrow. Thanks

I discovered True Linkswear last summer and purchased the OG Feel. As far as barefoot shoes are considered, it still has a rather high stack height and less toe width than most brands….but it is by far the best golf shoe for foot health that I’ve found.
They are a little pricey, but come with a nice storage bag. And since I only wear them for golf, I hope to get a few years’ worth of use out of them.
I reduced my overall stack height by swapping out the roughly 6mm insole (which I found to be rather spongy) with a 3.8mm cork insole from Lem’s shoes, which I ordered one size larger, and trimmed it to fit.

Now, only if there was a company that made minimalist bowling shoes….
