In reply to Mary. After wearing these in two sizes and widths, I now recommend that most people go with the wide version, erring on the smaller size if in-between. In wide and a size down for me they fit pretty well without slipping. The regular width and my usual size was too crunchy on my toes and slipped off my heel.

In reply to Nat De Paoli. I don't have a size guide right now, but the weave is roomy and accommodating so I actually size down in them. In the Origo Huaraches I wear a 6.5, in the woven flats I wear a size 6.

I’ve been checking the website daily in June so am glad I can now lock in the 30 June. Is there a shoe size guide I can use to work out my size in advance for this style (woven Mary Jane’s) ?

When are the new Origo shoes (the woven slip-on with an elastic strap over the top of the foot) going to be released? I have been keeping an eye out for months. 🙂

In reply to Nat De Paoli. We are planning to release them starting June. In Australia the Retailer Barefoot Shoes Australia carries Origo Huaraches and so they might be bringing the woven flats to their store as well. But at first they will only be at origoshoes.com

I really appreciate your reviews Anja, they are super helpful. I got inspired so I was looking at Crupon on Etsy but the reviews are really not great.. apparently the customer service is really poor. I dont want to take a chance on that.

Trying to be optimistic since Wildling is discontinuing what is in my opinion the best summer shoe out there, Cahor. All other summer barefoot shoes seem to either be made out of plastic based fabrics, leather or are, once again, made for average to small feet. I just want a linen or hemp shoe that covers my foot (not a sandal) and isn’t made only for small feet…
