In reply to Amber A. Hi Amber! This is actually a pretty new list, so it isn't due for an update yet. I am seeing several options in Barefoot+ available from Groundies. You can view them here. We were also bummed to find out they stopped shipping to the US and the full collection isn't available for US customers. Hopefully that will change in the future!

Can you do an updated list? Some of these options are no longer available in the USA. Finding barefoot shoes for ‘extra wide’ feet is so discouraging. We already have big feet and sizes are limited and the wrong size makes them look even bigger or bulkier or ‘bulby’ To make matters worse, companies like Groundies no longer offers barefoot+ shoes in the USA and does not offer the option to ship from Germany(they have 4 options for mens shoes, nothing for women). I just emailed the company to confirm this – they had no information as to if they were expanding that option in the us market but they confirmed that they no longer will ship from germany to the usa. So disappointing.

In reply to Lin. It is the Camden Mid boot, and currently it looks like that specific model in Barefoot+ width is only available in the main Groundies EU site, but not on the US website. :(

Thanks for such a large selection! I love the look of the black suede zip boot you note as Groundies Barefoot+ but I don’t see this one their website. Is this posting correct?

arch support is not required for flat feet,as flat feet is a common misconception for “fallen arches”.

fallen arches are due to the atrophy of the plantar fascia and various other intrinsic foot muscles and requires LESS support in order to re-establish function,formulate alignment and rebuild atrophied muscle due to improperly shaped footwear.

Do you wear the wide in the Softstar primal Maryjanes? I tried the ballerines in regular width, and they were too tight across my foot(not tight on my toes) I have a high volume, wide foot that tapers to the heel. I’m going to try the primal Maryjanes, just not sure which width to get.

In reply to Monica. The Lems Chelsea (US brand) would be a good one for using your own support! They have removable insoles you can swap out for your own and they are a high volume shoe. Also Wyde Footwear would be a good option and they are opening up a US warehouse next month.
