Hi! I tried on Anya’s pair and can confirm they worked fine for my higher volume feet. I wasn’t bothered by the elastic, it seemed fairly gentle elastic to me.

Well, it may technically be wider and larger, but to me they feel similar to the other because the original sole is so flexible and unstructured that it flattens out and kind of molds to the foot. The wearing experience of both soles is pretty much the same for me.

Yes I have them! I have a picture of them on my feet in last Friday’s newsletter. Once I got the size down I liked them much better. If you also have narrow feet then I personally would err on the smaller side. But I don’t yet know of anyone else who has tried them, so am not 100% certain others are having the same experience.

I purchased the True Linkswear OG Feel golf shoes a couple years ago. They aren’t truly barefoot, but were the best I could find in terms of checking off most of the boxes. They are not truly wide and I would call the outsole “flimsy” rather than flexible. Really need to keep the insole in or it’s unwearable. I changed insoles for another brand for a better feel.
I almost bought Peluva this year, but heard from Steven Sashen at XeroShoes that they plan to launch a golf shoe next year. I’m waiting to see what that looks like.

Hi Rita, we’ve reviewed True Linkswear Golf shoes that are a good options. There also is a new golf shoe available from Peluva that we have not yet tried, but I have other Peluva shoes and they are definitely wide (they are toe shoes).

We’re thinking about it for the future! But it’s not currently planned for this season.

Yes, many of these can be used with an insole of your choice! I like these ones for a bit more cushion. I also have this list of options with thicker soles than most barefoot shoes.
