Do you know of any brand or model that makes kind of elegant-ish, bridal-ish or more femenine barefoot slippers? Like the type that often uses satin, or that are velvety, or that have that kind of fluffy pompom on them.

If cushion is what you are looking for, the Lems Drifter Fur is going to be the one with the cushiest thickest outsole. The insole on them is not lined, so for more of a slipper experience I’d recommend swapping it out with a wool option. You could also try adding in your own extra insole for more cushion, like I did in the Wildling Slinka Sten.

It’s amazing to hear your testimonial of how barefoot shoes have helped you in your recovery – thank you for sharing! In my experience with the Verloop slippers they do give/relax some but not a ton. I would go with the smaller of the sizes if you’re looking at the knit bootie style and the larger size if you’re wanting the ballet slipper style.
