We tried the Saguaro boots for my kid, and two pairs in a row ripped. The rubber is just too thin. If they were cheaper I wouldn’t care but they are too expensive to only last 2 months.

My husband and I both have the Wildling Ranidae and they are incredible. I don’t particularly want to spend that much on my children’s boots, but at least I know they will stay in one piece.

I bought the vaistoa boots in Germany.. The rubber broke after 2 month… Got them replaced, but had to travel to pick them up as they would not send them to the UK. The second pair broke after 7 month – rubber split in several places despite being cared for correctly. Super comfortable but too short lived and expensive. Can’t recommend.

I’m surprised to see Grundens listed, even if under the “compromise” category. I’m trying to find something to replace Grundens. The toe box squeezes my toes together while the rest of the shoe (Deck Boss Slip On) has so much extra space around my foot and ankle that I can take them on and off without using my hands. Plus they are very stiff and heavy. Very much the opposite of barefoot shoes.

Hi Any, I am getting frustrated & could use some direction please. I’ve tried and have not been successful. I currently wear Lems Primal III sz.15 and they are a little small on the last 3 toes by the end of the day only wearing thin Injinji’s or Creeper socks.

I recently purchased and returned the Vivo Tracker Leather Low sz48. Beautiful shoes, awesome leather, fit good on my left foot but too short again on the last 3 toes of my right foot and felt the shoes had too low of volume. My foot shape is mountain & plateau.

Vivo Primus Trail II FG sz 49 way too long and sole design too narrow. Xero Glenn sz 15 too long and too narrow. Altra Lone Peaks, way too wide. Altra Supreme, too narrow. I can wear Altra Escalantes, I think the soft mesh allows them to work.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and would love to get a pair of waterproof shoes for rain and a little snow. Walking in town and on mild trails. But I am willing to settle and waterproof if needed. I thought I am not designed for the barefoot market and bought a pair of Keen boots. My back hurt & hips hurt as soon as I put them on and walked around the house.

I’d appreciate any recommendations. Thank you-

Hi! I absolutely love the idea Stonz has of getting rubber boots and then pairing them with a warm fleece liners to add extra warmth! I have four kids and it is often hard to justify buying rain boots and snow boots each year. I was wondering if there were other brands that did that too? Or just Stonz? Thank you!
