Has anyone tired the Peracles Footwear (AU) from Australia? They are honestly my favorite style and look. They are so expensive and I’m in US. Concerns about fit and ability to exchange. I don’t see anything else exactly like those.

In reply to Penelope. Hi Penelope! Groundz fits a wide, straight foot best and tend to be high volume (so not a great fit for Anya). There are some Groundz sandals listed in this sandal article, but I do believe they are launching new models soon. She does have some information about Groundz loafers here.

Hi. This list is super helpful and comprehensive. I am looking for something ultralight and without a toe thong to wear with socks on a long backpacking trip to wear in cabins and huts at night. Not sure how to find weights for these, but maybe you have a sense of which are really super light. Thank you!!

What would you recommend for a transitional barefoot sandal? One that has a bit more cushion. My feet get extra fatigued in the summer with sandals and I find I need a bit more support in my sandals but still want the zero drop.

For about a year, I have been thinking about transitioning to barefoot shoes. I bought the Xero Aptos shoes a year ago and like them, although they are a bit tight on my wide (women’s) high-volume feet, even though I ordered the men’s size. For as long as I can due to weather, I wear my Teva Tirra sandals, which I have in a regular width, as they were a hand-me-down. I enjoy the open toe box and the decent flexibility of the Tirra’s, but they are wearing out. I have done some research and think I might like the Bedrock Cairn sandals. Do you have any sandal recommendations for someone with wide to extra-wide (in traditional width sizing), high-volume feet? I don’t want too thin of a sandal, and I would like something durable. Thank you!

Just a heads up – I wouldn’t recommend Correct Toes to anyone. Their customer service has been super unresponsive to me (emails and phone calls) and their 30-day used ‘warranty’ only applies to items purchased directly from them (I bought their toe spacers from a local running store and Correct Toes won’t let me return them even though I provided a receipt). It kind of makes sense, but the whole reason I bought Correct Toes is because I wanted to be able to return them if they didn’t work for me and I thought they had great customer service. Considering you can get basically the exact same thing for half the price elsewhere, I wouldn’t recommend paying a higher premium for crap customer service with Correct Toes.

In reply to Nicole. For inexpensive flip flops I would just go for those real cheap ones that you can get from big box stores, Old Navy, etc. They're flat and flexible already.
