Hi April, it sounds like the Correct Toes XS would be a better fit for you. They offer a 30 day return policy, even if used or modified.

This made for weird bunching in between my toes that I couldn’t stand. When I contacted Correct Toes directly for fit advice when looking at their extra small size, I heard back once to confirm they got my inquiry, then never heard back again. I followed up three times with no response. So I’ve just been wearing those open-toe toe separator socks at home or in the evenings. I’d love to find something to wear in shoes though!

Any thoughts about doing an article comparing toe spacers?

There seem to be a lot more options on the market nowadays and it’s hard to know what’s good and bad – or at least comparing designs and materials so people can make decisions based on foot shape, etc…

I’m just curious because I personally found Correct Toes uncomfortable and I switched to the Naboso Splay. I get benefit from them and find them more comfortable, but not sure the shape is as anatomically correct. Every other product from them is based on sensory stimulation and I’m not sure if their Splay has the same expertise and research behind it, or if it’s kind of an “accessory” product to their line of sensory insoles, socks, mats, blocks and other tools, etc….

I know there are a lot of brands and especially Amazon brands keep popping up – some of which might be great and many of which I’m sure are junk (same as any product/category on Amazon). But, even just comparing some of the “big names” like Correct Toes, Naboso, Spacer Mobility, Gait Happens,.etc…” would probably be appreciated by many of your readers.

Anything with a removable insole will be good! And fortunately lots have that now. Of the dressy shoes in our shop, Be Lenka and Groundies have removable insoles. And the Dalia loafer is high volume with a good amount of vertical space. Good luck!

I hadn’t heard of them, but checked them out. It looks like they are ripping off Correct Toes design (unfortunately it was never patented, so that’s been happening lately) but without the education. I personally feel committed to supporting the creator of that toe spacer, appreciate that Correct Toes is medical grade silicon AND that they come with a ton of education and support via their customer service. But yeah, it’s basically the same product.

I also need to wear a small pad or cushion just below the pad of my foot which makes my feet feel pretty crammed even in the wider toe box shoes (top to bottom) . I’m still in the process of changing over my shoes. Do you have a recommendation list for shoes that are not only wide but roomier up top to make space for correct toes and are taller in the toe box? I’m kind of panicking about finding shoes for dressing for church and other outings besides wearing tennis shoes!

Hello! I have a pair of GH toe spacers – they are a dupe of the original Correct Toes design (which unfortunately doesn’t have a patent so it happens) but Correct Toes is medical grade silicon. So I notice that the Correct Toes have a little more durable quality feel to them. Otherwise they are the same. The Earth Runners expanders I also have but never use. They don’t include the big toe and I just don’t personally feel any benefit to wearing them.

They also have three sizes and seem fairly reputable, and are $35 instead of $65. I wonder if they’re worth trying as a more affordable option but still safe and anatomical for wearing in shoes. Thanks in advance! <3

Hi Susan, so sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your Correct Toes. It’s possible they weren’t the right size for you. Did you reach out to the Correct Toes customer service team for help with the fit?

I was advised to buy M and the splay is like the article’s illustration of the Amazon cheapies. Even cutting off the side near the pinky toe they are still terrible. I think I will have to cut off another and be down to just the second toe through the spacer. Very disappointing.
